Internet Services Business Case Study

This technology-restart company was approaching launch of its first commercial offering when we were hired to put formal structure and growth disciplines in place around the technical team of this entrepreneurial business. The prime objective was to ensure the company would be attractive to potential acquirers.

After consensus was achieved on strategy we executed tasks in pragmatic order, working with the team to formulate service and product licence agreements and managed the successful release of the production web-service including the implementation of a new usage and billing system to aid rapid invoicing and revenue collection.

After establishing the first formal product management and release process for the company we also developed the pricing and marketing strategy and oversaw the production of marketing messages and materials.

Before the end of our assignment the service had been successfully deployed to, and adopted by, some of the largest companies in the UK financial services industry.
