Ian specialises in working with SMEs. He has worked at board level for over 25 years as an operating and main board director, as a non-executive director and as a consultant, coach and mentor. He has worked across a wide range of business sectors for blue chip organisations, and the Public Sector. Today he continues to be hold directorships of several companies.
You do not need to book an advisory session by the day when all you need is a chat with an advisor. Our sessions can be two hourly once a month or more frequently when needed.
Pragmatic and hands-on, Ian helps managers and directors cope with change in both developing and turnaround situations. He has a track record of achieving results in tough challenging environments. His approach has been welcomed in both Public and Private sector assignments where he utilises performance coaching techniques with top teams.
Background
Ian has been operating in the consultancy field for over 20 years. He works in his own practice NextStepsGroup Limited and as an associate for other consultancies including a leading HR consultancy.
In 1998 he founded a network of consultants who operate as the Link Management Group. They bring expertise across all disciplines and sectors to help clients with “spot” specialist help as and when needed.
In his previous corporate life he was a Director of Reliance Security Group plc and a member of the team that “floated” that business. Prior to this he held senior sales roles up to director level for blue chip organisations.
