Allan is an Organisation Effectiveness Consultant and also the Change and Project Manager Practice Area Leader. He specialises in helping his clients to define business strategies and build workable business plans that will engage the workforce. In addition he helps his clients manage organisation change which includes such activities as introducing new IT systems,  work processes and work and organisation restructuring. He also enables his clients to solve organisation problems using various analytical approaches including Appreciative Inquiry.

Allan has worked with senior leaders and their management teams at international levels. He has also worked with small Companies, one with as few as 30 employees. His ability to listen and to understand his clients issues, his ability to personally connect with them at a human level and his practical approach have all been key in enabling his clients to resolve issues or take their businesses in a positive direction. His practical methods are underpinned with a sound theoretical background. Allan is qualified in Business Management and Organisation Consulting to Masters level.

Primary Sector Experience

Allan has worked in a number of industries including FMCG, Retail, Electronics, Building and Civil Engineering. The last 25 years have been spent in electronics and the IT sector, where Allan and a colleague set up a European Organisation Development Function in a global IT Company. Since becoming an independent consultant he has worked in the IT sector, the Property Management Sector and in the Recruitment Advertising Business. Allan has consulted to most functions including Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, IT, Supply Chain and HR. He has supported a number of businesses including IT Outsourcing, Customer Service, Business Consulting, Financing  and Logistics and Distribution.
